NASHVILLE-The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, Dequan Hasani Bertrand of Antioch, TN.
Dequan Hasani Bertrand is wanted by the Brentwood Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Currently, Brentwood Police have charged Bertrand with one felony count of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, one felony count of Aggravated Robbery and one felony count of Aggravated Burglary.
On October 12, 2013, at approximately 7:40 in the evening, two male suspects forced their way into a residence on Moores Lane in Brentwood, TN. Upon forceful entry of the home, one suspect held members of the residence at gunpoint, while the other suspect ransacked the house. Prior to leaving the home, the suspects forced the members of the residence into a bathroom. The total of the items stolen were valued at approximately $2,400 dollars. Further investigation revealed that the victim’s credit card was used, which led to Bertrand’s identification in this case. Bertrand is currently under investigation by the Belle Meade Police Department and the Metro Nashville Police Department for similar crimes.
Dequan Hasani Bertrand, age 19, of Davidson County, has a last known address of 181 Tusculum Road in Antioch, TN. He is described as an African American male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6 foot tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
Bertrand has a criminal history of theft and a juvenile arrest record.
